    BEFORE WAXING

To make sure you remove all the hair:

The skin should be clean and dry, with no traces of cream or other products.
It is advisable to exfoliate the skin 24 hours before waxing to remove dead skin cells and free any ingrown hairs.
For the bikini line and underarms, sprinkle talcum powder before waxing to protect the delicate skin in these areas. If you have been in the sun, you should wait 24 hours before waxing.

    AFTER WAXING

If your skin becomes red, don’t worry, it’s normal. You can reduce it by applying a cloth dampened with cold water for a few minutes or a little ice for a few seconds.
Wait 24 hours before sunbathing or using a deodorant (in the case of underarms).

    RIGHT AFTER WAXING

If you have depilated with wax, you can apply a little cold (a cold water cloth, for example) which will close the pores and soothe the skin.

If you have depilated with depilatory cream, rinse the area with plenty of lukewarm water, and you will see that your skin will be perfectly clean and moisturised.

  • 1. LEGS

Apply the wax from the top towards the ankle and remove in the opposite direction.

    2. FACE

Waxing should be done in two parts, on the right side and then on the left side. Check the direction of the hair and apply a thin layer of wax in the same direction with the tip of the spatula. Tighten the skin by biting your lips with your thumb and forefinger and always remove it against the grain.

    3. BIKINI LINE AND UNDERARMS

Check that the area is completely dry, apply talcum powder if necessary. If the hair is excessively long, cut up to about 6 mm. Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth. It is important to keep the skin taut during application. In the case of groin hair, the hair normally grows towards the inside of the legs. In the case of armpit hair that grows in two directions, the waxing should be done in two parts. The strip should be removed firmly, quickly and very close to the skin, always keeping it taut, with the hand behind the nape of the neck or holding the skin with the other hand.

    For depilating different areas

  • Create your own beauty salon

Play relaxing music, a scented candle, anything that relaxes you, the kind of music that lifts your spirits, you know.

Make sure there’s enough light, so you don’t miss a hair. You’ll see the hairs better if you can stand near a window or somewhere with natural light.

Make yourself comfortable, whether it’s in the bathroom, kitchen, living room or terrace. Sit on a small cushion or folded towel and have everything you’ll need to hand.

And even if you don’t have much experience, don’t worry. Practice on your legs, because it’s the easiest area to epilate. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be able to wax other areas with more confidence.
