  • What do I do if I have little experience with waxing?

    Taky Reply:

    If you don’t have much experience, Taky recommends waxing only your legs until you learn the technique and then move on to waxing other areas.

    Just like that, you can do it like an expert:

    1. Apply the wax in a thin layer. The thinner the strip of wax, the better. In the case of Taky Wax Strips, the ideal amount of wax is already dosed into each strip!

    2. Keeping the skin taut, remove the strip: pulling flush and against the grain, as parallel as possible to the skin in a quick motion.

    There is no more mystery.

    Before waxing

    To make sure you remove all the hair:

    The skin should be clean and dry, with no traces of cream or other products.
    It is advisable to exfoliate the skin 24 hours before waxing to remove dead skin cells and release any ingrown hairs.
    For the bikini line and underarms, sprinkle talcum powder before waxing to protect the delicate skin in these areas. If you have been in the sun, you should wait 24 hours before waxing.

    After waxing

    If you get redness on your skin, don’t worry, it’s normal. You can reduce it by applying a cloth dampened with cold water for a few minutes or a little ice for a few seconds.
    Wait 24 hours before sunbathing or using a deodorant (in the case of underarms).
